By using LinkVault (the mobile app, browser extension, or API), you agree to these Terms. Please read them.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of LinkVault, including the iOS and Android apps, browser extensions, and associated APIs. By creating an account or using LinkVault you agree to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

LinkVault is a personal link management tool that allows you to save, tag, organize, and retrieve URLs. The service includes cloud sync between devices via a Supabase-backed API and optional browser extensions.

3. Account Registration

You must create an account using Google or Apple OAuth to access sync features. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• All activity that occurs under your account.
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use LinkVault to:

• Save, distribute, or link to illegal content.
• Scrape, reverse engineer, or overload the API beyond normal usage.
• Attempt to access other users' data.
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.

5. Your Content

You retain full ownership of all links, notes, and metadata you save. By using the sync service you grant LinkVault a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

6. Privacy

Your use of LinkVault is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

7. Service Availability

LinkVault is provided "as is." We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The offline-first architecture of the mobile app ensures your local data remains accessible even when cloud services are unavailable.

8. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LinkVault is provided without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any loss of data, indirect damages, or consequential losses arising from your use of the service.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the app settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your cloud data is deleted permanently.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be notified via the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Switzerland.
